Farrel
Reclamation Specialist
Re
Dear Ms. Farrell:
Delta Sand and Gravel Pit ~k 1
Permit No. 77-20
Our operation covers many areas on different properties and on our
Pit ~k 1 area the property was acquired in 1976 and the mining permit
was issued in 1977 with a conversion and amendment in 1980.
We have never had and never intend to have either a crushing operation
or a gravel washing operation on this mining property. All materials
mined are hauled from this property by truck as a raw product.
All of our process, distribution, shop areas, office facilities and
ready mix operations are on property that has been utilized for this
since 1955 with no mining operations. All mined raw materials
through out the years have been hauled into this operation from
various sources by dump trucks.
As for reviewing the financial warranty on our pits, I plan to
cover this as a separate matter in our annual reportand fee
letter for each individual mining operation.
Y rs truly,
Jack R.
