RESULTS <br />Results of the vegetation sampling on the dryland and irrigated pasture are contained on <br />Tables 1 through 5. Selection of the irrigated pasture reference area was limited to the <br />adjacent undisturbed area as being the most appropriate location. Selection of the dryland <br />pasture reference area was somewhat more difficult. Since the reclaimed areas contain a <br />variety of slopes and aspects, no single location contains all of the variables. As a result, the <br />selected area was based on land ownership, variety of slopes and aspects, and visual cover <br />and species diversity. <br /> <br />
