Only upon passage of a motion [o call the
question can further discussion of the original motion of issue be curtailed and the motion
itself voted upon. This procedural defect would require that the Board reconsider the
matter.
Based upon the foregoing technical and procedural issues, the Colorado Division of
Wildlife requests that the Board reconsider its reversal of the Minerals and Geology denial
decision. Wildlife suggests [hat the reconsideration be handled in two steps. In July, 1993 the
Board review this request and make a determination as to whether to hear the reconsideration
matter. The Board may order transcripts of the May hearing be made and reproduced. The
reconsideration hearing may be held in August, 1993 and would focus upon the issues raised in
this request, based upon the information submitted and considered at the May hearing.
Please contact me if ~
PDO/vvm
cc: Michael Long, Director, Minerals and Geology
Kenneth Salazar, Executive Director, Natural Resources
