After a couple of phone
conversations and the advise provided by you and discussion with Mr.
David L. Patch, GEC's revegetation consultant,it has been decided that
the following plan would be the appropriate method to get rid of the side
slope erosion and also tend to improve the revegetation success:
1. Walk the D-9 Bulldozer through the side slopes sideways. 4lhile
doing to we will be pulling the spring tooth chisel behind it.
This will be done prior to the coming of 4linter.
2. Reseed the side slope area next spring.
3. Mulching, if necessary.
GEC Minerals, Inc., appreciates the opportunity to submit the side slope
erosion control plan in a productive manner. Should you have any questions
concerning this sut~mission, please do nc•t hesitate to call us.
Sinc~re`ly`~you ,
L. K. CHEN
V. P. Engineering & Planning
cc: F. E.
