A program called QtaickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the <br />first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not requiro a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase >~ be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will tread a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will conbin files with the .tif extension There needs to bo an image viewing application for .cif files oa your compute that <br />will handle single andmulti-page doc~mmenb. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs aro called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or'Taint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes withpre-Windocus XP computers. <br />does work. DMG has determined that a program called "hfanView", which can be downloaded from hfanView.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "hfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsability. There era many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />IH!$IlG~481: <br />1. Insect the CD into your computx. <br />~. You are ready to view the Petmit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Aatoroq which tuns the QuickView <br />setup program, has also bem copied to this CD. If the Autorun program <br />does Nt71' work, you will need to mamaally install tfie QaickView program. <br />hrstroction fot annually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />witlt the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.abte.co.us. <br />The Permit FIIe doctrmeat images as be viewed In the reception area of the DMG office or they can be purchased on a CD or <br />DVD. The CD/DVD parchaee cost covers the time and labor of making the CD.
