The following plan is based on the General Guidelines
issued by your office in February, 1995.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
All Rite Paving and Redi-Mix, Inc., proposes to establish a sand and gravel mining and
processing operation as shown on the enclosed location map (Fig. 1).
2. The property comprises approximately 143 acres. The completed operation will result in
one lake surface of approximately 142 acres. Exhibit D, Mining Plan Map, is enclosed and
prepared for the MLRB 112 Permit Application. Exhibit D shows the azea proposed for
mining. At the completion of the mining one lake will remain. The entire pit operation
will not be surrounded by a slurry wall, therefore a Glover Analysis was performed.
3. A statutory fee of $ 1,343.00 is enclosed for a new substitute supply plan request.
DEPLETIONS
4. The depletions from the mining of the North River Pit will result from evaporation and
water lost m the product. The gross evaporation of 45.0 in/y was determined from the
NOAA Technical Report NWS 33. The calculation was based on the SEO draft criteria
dated February, 1995.
In the past, irrigation on the property was by flood irrigation methods using GASP wells
and the Ft. Lyons Ditch. Table 1, shows the estimated evaporation on a monthly basis.
