Computer requlremenU to use the DMG document Imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your wmputer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installaton of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase moat be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif exextension. Thera needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documrnta. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picturo and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do notwork with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pro-Windawa XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from ht'anView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it nuAs to be configured as yom default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work ae well, such ae "hnaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". iostruetlons: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject Ote CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the wmputer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Automn, which note the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autoron program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickV iew program. instmctions for manually installing QuickV iew are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. The Permit Flle document images can be viewed in the receptlon area of the DMG office or they can be purchased oo a CD or DVD. Tha CD/DVD purchase cost coven the tlme sod labor of making the CD. DMG cannot provide computer related support.
