Drawer 790 ) Placer Mining Claims <br />Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81602 ) <br />MINING CLAIMS FORFEITED BY OPERATION OF LAW <br />The Omnibus Hudget Reconciliation Aet (Act) of 1993 (Public Law <br />103-66), requires a maintenance fee of $100 or a certification of <br />exemption for each mining claim, mill site or tunnel site be paid <br />or filed on or before August 31, for each annual assessment year. <br />The Act also provides that failure to comply by August 31, shall <br />be deemed conclusively to constitute a forfeiture of the <br />claim/site and the claim/site is forfeited by operation of law. <br />The Bureau of Land Management (HLM) records indicate that you <br />failed to pay the maintenance fees for the following assessment <br />years: <br />1996 assesement year by August 31, 1995; <br />1997 assessment year by August 31, 1996; <br />1998 assessment year by August 31, 1947; <br />1999 assessment year by August 31, 1998. <br />You failed to meet the statutory and regulatory filing <br />requirements for the above years. <br />Therefore, the Calcite Nos. 1 through 7 (CMC-246344 through <br />CMC-246350) placer mining claims are hereby forfeited by <br />operation of law. <br />You may relocate the claims if the lands are currently open to <br />location and entry under the general mining laws. Your rights <br />would begin on the date of the new locations. crew locations must <br />be accompanied by a $100 maintenance fee, $25 location fee, and <br />
