,~
WATER SUPPLY PLAN- 42.75-ACRE SITE, PROPOSED SUBDIVISION, NE;SE~
SECTION 76 AND NW~SW4 SECTION 25, T1S, R67W, ADAMS COUNTY, COLORADO

TheFroposed subdivision will consist of 14 lots: nine 1-acre
residential lots, four 2-~--acre residential lots, and one commer-
~ cial lot approximately one acre in size. A lake resulting from
the prior gravel mining operations will be used for recreation. _
The lake will be approximately 20 acres in size.
'•
Water supply will be from a community water system utilizing the
Arapahoe formation. Individual sewage disposal systems will be
~ utilized. Deed and covenant restrictions will be provided limit-
ing irrigated area to 8000 square feet per lot. Assuming 15%
return flow from irrigation, consumptive use for irrigation of 14
~ lots at 8000 square feet per lot irrigated area and an application
rate of 2 acre-feet per year would be 4.37 acre-feet per year. An
augmentation program will be established to supply make-up water
~ for this consumptive use. It is currently proposed to utilize
r
GASP for the augmentation program. An agreement has been made with
the owner of existing well ~2-0092 to provide 100-acre feet per
~ year from that well to the subject property. The Arapahoe well
could be utilized as an alternate point of diversion for 100 acre-
feet from this well, to permit applying to GASP with an existing
~ well. If GASP water should not be available, a program utilizing
the Laramie-Fox Hills aquifer, surface water rights, or some other
source would be utilized.
~ Based on a use rate of .3 acre-feet per year per house and a return
flow of 90;G, consumptive use for in-house use would be 14 lots x
I•
I•
I•
