Dear Tom:
I am enclosing three (3) documents that I would like to have certified as official copies of
records from the Division of Minerals and Geology or the Mined Land Reclamation Division, as
applicable. The first document is a letter dated January 27, 1988 from Fred R. Banta, Director,
MLRD, to Messrs James F. and John F. Hanks, Animas Valley Sand & Gravel, referencing the
issuance of a 110 Permit.
The second document is the actual 110 Permit issued by the MLRD on January 13, 1988
to Animas Valley Sand & Gravel, Permit NumberM-87-085-110.
In addition, I have enclosed a document from the DMG dated May 20, 2002, entitled
"Rationale for Approval Recommendation, Amendment (AM-O1) to a 112 Construction Material
Permit", regarding Four Corners Materials, Inc., Thomas Pivt~Permit No. M-1976-020.
