Documentation Notice;
Properties located North
of Lorincito Coal Co.
along Highway 12
203 E. MAIN~ST.
TRINIDAD, CDLORADO&1082
U.SA
. cell- 719 859 5237
Fax;719-64.5-0421
Home: 719-846-0461
04/11/02
Location of Property; Approx; 21 miles west of Trinidad, Co.
20501 Highway 12
Primero, Co.
This property is to the north of the Coal Co. of mining opera-
tions for strip mining by the Lorincito Coal Co.
This home was built in 1993, and has stucco on the outer struc-
ture of the home,'and a walk out basement built into the side of
the hill, The interior walls are all covered by tape and texture
drywall on the main floor as well as the basement, except for the
utility room in the northeast corner.
The foundation wall on the north side by the boiler has a crack
from the top plate down to the center of the wall, and also a
crack that starts from the floor base and goes to the top of the
wall under the seal plate as well. There does not appear to be
a complete crack through the entire wall to the outside yet, and
it is not leaking water from the outside as of today. I found no
otkier cracks or separations in the basement foundation walls or
on the drywall covering. There was no cracks on the floor as
well.
The main floor of the house inside has hairline separations on
the inside walls of the kitchen where the hallway thresehold en-
try to the hall is. The pictures did not pick up those cracks,
but never the less they are apparent to the naked eye. The living
room are had a few hairline cracks under the south window seal as
well. The only other room with noted cracks was the southeast end
bedroom where the partition wall meets the outer wall.
The exterior walls are where the most noted cracks are found.
They are all around or in the corners of the windows, most noted
are the windows on the northwest and southwest sides of the house
The west side where the deck attaches to the house, has cracks
where the plate is. The morjority of the cracks are hairline at
the present time, but there is some areas that have poped off of
the cracks that may lead to bigger exposed areas of concern.
Most of these areas can be normally explained from time, but the
owner has said that these have happened in the past 6 to 7 months
and I do believe that the majority of them are fairly new points
of fractures. The areas of where the stucco has popped off are
new as well, (within the last month or so), particularly on the
west and south side of the house.
Pg. 1 of 2
