~ III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII ~
The Corley Company
Phone 6325050 P O Box 1821
COLORADO SPRINGS. COLORADO 80901
December 16, 1994
Mr. Larry P. Routten
Division of Minerals & Geology
1313 Sherman
Denver CO 80203
Dear Mr. Routten:
~~~_
RFrFIVEL~
UtL 1 9 1994
Division o~ Ivunerais a ue0iog,
I.guess we can spend considerable time arguing about the meaning and intent
of the addendum sentence: "The scope of work in item "d" will be determined
by Corley .". Therefore, I will exercise our right to make the
determination now. Your agreement to accept our determination will then
constitute the ultimate agreement of the addendum. Your refection of our
determination will then void the addendum.
lde have determined that the $800 shall be used to purchase seedling Ponderosa
trees and planting supplies for planting in approximately April, 1995. Such
seedlings are available through the SCS for approximately $1.00 per potted
seedling. We have determined that 600 trees plus fertilizer and protection
can be purchased for $800. In the event that the Division can purchase more
trees with the available funds, then the entire $800 will be spent for trees.
We shall plant the trees for no cost. Planting will. be done primarily along
both sides of the main road in the GEC disturbed area and also the duck pond
and the orphan pit steep slopes.
Please respond to this determination prior to starting work in the West Pit.
Sincerely,
L~
W.D. Corley, Sr
President
