A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DAMS imaging CD the fast time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase mus be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an ittmge viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-Page documenm. On a Wi~owa XP commuter, the default viewing Programs are called "Windows Picture end Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they ~ ~t work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DAMS has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from lrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your defauh .tif viewer. DAMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's rosponstbility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for W indowe". Inelructiona• 1. Insert the CD inDo your computer. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonm, which rum the QuickView setup Program, hoe also been copied to this CD. Tf the Autotun Program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView progreu.
