L <br />~~~~IV <br />Eli <br />Mpy1~~J <br />~EC~a EO ~~~ S ~, <br />~~.r <br />This letter is written in response to your letter of October 27, 1986, <br />regarding complaints with respect to terracing and reclamation in various areas <br />on the property owned by you and leased by Sun Coal Company, Inc. <br />As you are aware, Sun Coal Company, Inc., is required to comply with all <br />local, state and federal laws pertaining to the regulation of the mining of coal <br />and to the reclamation of lands after completion or cessation of mining <br />operations. All of the reclamation which has been completed on the leased <br />property has been performed in strict compliance with the rules, regulations and <br />requirements of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division ("CMLRD") and is <br />further in compliance with all local, state and federal laws pertaining to <br />reclamation of mining areas. <br />We are not now and have never been in violation of any provision of the <br />Amended and Restated Coal Mining Lease, dated May 15, 1975.
