• •
Mr. R.R. Evans -2- M,~y 16, 1984
Your Notice of Temporary Cessation establishes the beginning date for the
five-year temporary cessation period for each operation. I have listed these
dates above. Each date was established by reviewing the respective Notice and
noting the latest date that mining operations were curtailed on any ~~articular
portion of the operation in question. For each operation, after a period
ending five years after that date (un]ess mining has been resumed beFore that
date) the status of the operation must be re-evaluated as per Rule 1.63.
Once again, I commend you for your detailed reports in these ten Notices of
Temporary Cessation. This made my task of.evaluation of the status of these
operations (as relates to stability during the period of temporary cessation)
much easier. For those operations for which a map and pictures were not
supplied, I presume these items will be submitted to us as soon as they are
available. Please call me if I can be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
~~. ~ , ~
Mark S. Loye
Senior Reclamation Specialist
MSL/tlh
Doc. No. 1453
