In
the Fall of 1983, CYCC drilled a new well at Tipple 4k2, down to the Trout
Creek aquifer to supplement its water supply, The new tipple well has
never produced water in sufficient quantities to meet our current needs.
CYCC is planning to drill a well to the west of Pond D to make up for the
deficiencies of the tipple well and install another storage tank adjacent
to the tank located north of the main office. All precautions will be
taken to insure the protection of environmental resources during the
upgrading and maintenance of the CYCC water system.
Sincerely,
David McMindes
Environmental Coordinator
DM/kk
cc: G.
