The Colorado Division of Minerals and
Geology is continuing to analyze the blasting effects issue and the dust pollution issue
which were discussed in your letter. We will continue to emphasize these two issues
during our inspections of the Bowie No. 2 mine site. As to the dust issue, I have attached
a letter that the Division sent to the Colorado Department of Public Health and
Environment informing them of your concerns.
If you have any further questions or comments, please call me.
Sincerely,
~ D~~
seph J.
