Tejon, Suite 800 <br />Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903 <br />Re: Cessation of Operations, CCMC No. 1, Permit No. C-81-024 <br />Dear Mr. Balaz: <br />It has recently come to my attention that no correspondence regarding the <br />status of the CCMC t7o. 1 Mine has been received since July 12, 1984 (Notice of <br />Temporary Cessation of Operations). The Division is requesting that the mine <br />submit an update on the circumstances surrounding the temporary cessation of <br />operations at the mine and provide a projected date when mining activities <br />will resume. <br />Please be aware, if coal mining activity is not projected for future, the mine <br />must submit a notice of permanent cessation to the Division.
