<br />Un]ess otherwise authorized by the Authorized Officer, the well shall be <br />sampled for the following: <br />Field Iteasurements (t4onl:h <br />temperature <br />pH <br />conductivity <br />Lab Analyses - Idajor Constituents (Ilonthly) <br />total dissolved solids alkalinity <br />bicarbonate carbonate <br />sodium <br />Trace Elements (Sample initially and if lower aquifer is affected) <br />arsenic aluminum cadmium <br />manganese selenium barium <br />chromium nickel vanadium <br />beryllium copper strontium <br />molybdenum bismuth lead <br />zinc mercury bromide <br />lithium nitrate calcium <br />sulfide magnesium fluoride <br />potassium total phosphate sulphate <br />boron silica iron <br />chloride Dissolved Organic Carbon <br />Lab analysis work mu<_,t be performed by a laboratory approved by the <br />Authorized Officer. <br />3. Discharge of water will not be allowed without prior written approval from <br />the Authorized Officer of the BLII. <br />4. Subsurface subsidence of the solution cavities will be monitored. The <br />monitoring system will be designed by tiie designated operator/lessee and <br />will include a method for verifying cavity configuration. This design <br />will be submitted to the Authorized Officer for approval. The Authorized <br />Officer will approve, or approve with modifications, the design within 30 <br />days of receipt. The monitoring system will be in operation before sodium <br />production and will continue for at least 3 years, or longer if conditions <br />warrant, as determined by the Authorized Officer. <br />SUBPIITTALS <br />1'. The following information shall be submitted to the Authorized Ufficer <br />within 30 days after it has been obtained: <br />a) One copy of all hydrologic data obtained from drilling and monitoring. <br />b) Copies of all downhole logs, including temperature logs. <br />c) Fluid injection and production volumes and corresponding pressures. <br />d) The daily 5 1/2-inch by 8 5/8-inch annular pressure readings. <br />3 <br />
