A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be insmlh:d oa your computer in order fA use a DAMS imagitsg CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does sot require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase ~ be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .cif extenaioa. There needs to be an image viewing application for .cif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page docuutenb. Oa a Windows XP coagsuter, the default viewing programs sre called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The ]malting Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DBMS has detemlined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView, After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DAMS does not support of endorse this software a~ the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as .`Imaging Preview' a~ "Imaging for Windows". Inetructloos• 1. Ltsart the CD into your computer. Allow time for the CD [o install. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD inro the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Pemrit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonut, which roue tha QuickView setup prograrq has also been copied to this CD. If the Autoiua program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the tZuickView program Lrstructiom for manually installing lZtsickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.state.co.us.
