Box E <br />Paonia, Colorado 81428 <br />Re: Deadline Extensions for Vegetation Report and <br />Phase II Stability Analysis, Stipulations No. 2, 12, 13 and 14 <br />Orchard Valley Mine - Our File No. C-038-81 <br />Dear Ms. Farnsworth: <br />The Division has received your requests for an extension to the submittal <br />deadlines for Stipulations 2,12,13 and 14 attached to permit No. C-038-81. <br />In regards to Stipulation No. 2 which requires the submittal of the final <br />vegetation report within 30 days of permit issuance, the Division and OSM are <br />currently discussing the specifics of this plan, and as such, it will be <br />necessary to grant a 60-day extension for submission of the finalized report <br />in order to facilitate completion of these discussions. The revised dead- <br />line for submission of the final report is December 23, I981. <br />Concerning the 3 stipulations pertaining to the Phase II Stability Analysis <br />(I2,13,I4), the Division hereby grants a 30-day extension to the December 3Z, <br />1981 reporting deadline due to the permitting delays in approving the technical <br />revision necessary to allow the stability drilling to be performed.
