OSMRE reviewed the permit application package and reviewed and <br />concurs with Colorado MLRD's findings and supporting documentation <br />and supplemental report. As a result of this review, OSMRE has made <br />the following determinations: <br />Land use <br />The applicant has proposed to return the operation to its historic <br />use as rangeland and wildlife habitat. The land use will not be <br />inconsistent with the land use of the surrounding area or with any <br />local or State land use plans. The Loma coal loadout facility which <br />was constructed as part of the Munger Canyon mining operation was a <br />loading and storage siding for sugar beets prior to the leasing of <br />the area by the applicant from the D fi RGW Railroad. Salt Creek <br />Mining Company intends to reclaim the loadout to its previous <br />condition as per the lease agreement. <br />
