I forget the technical name for it, and <br /> 11 it was on the tip of my tongue, but prior to <br /> 12 sinking the shaft they drilled a series of holes <br />~ <br />(' 13 down around the shaft, about ten or twenty feet <br /> 14 away from it, and they grouted those holes to limit <br /> 15 the amount of water that could come into the shaft, <br /> 16 and obviously they weren't completely successful <br /> 17 because there is some water coming in. <br /> 18 Q. Do we have records available in the <br /> 19 construction of that air shaft that would show us <br /> 20 at all levels where water was encountered? <br /> 21 A. I'm not sure if they do. I would <br /> 22 expect there are records kept on that. <br /> 23 Q. Who is the contractor that did the work <br />,+~y <br />l ~ 24 on that shaft? <br /> 25 A. Dynatech.
