Bonding
The Division currently holds the bond amount of $4,402,022.00 for
the Keenesburg Mine site. This amount was calculated for the
worst-case scenario during the actual mining of coal in A and B
Pits. Since circumstances at the mine have since changed, this
bond amount may be subject to change. Should Coors wish to be
considered for a bond reduction, an in-depth bond estimate needs to
be submitted to the Division for review. The site is adequately
bonded at this time.
Conclusion
This concludes the Division's Mid-term adequacy review. Deadline
for Mid-term resolution is May 3, 1994. Request for responses and
supporting documentations and revisions need to be made to the
Division no later than March 21, 1994 in order to complete the
review and meet the Mid-term date.
Thanking you in advance for your immediate attention to these
matters.
ses/keenmtr
