Two experimental eillnets were set overnight, and no fish were captured in the <br />nets. The nets were set in similar location to the nets in 1990. This :~urvev substantiates <br />previous assessments that water pollution from Summitville Mine. Wiahtman Fork and several <br />other tributaries to the Alamosa River, have killed the fishery in Terrace Reservoir. If and <br />when cleanup operations by the EPA have improved the water quality for ':rout. splake should <br />be considered, due to their tolerance to low pH. <br />
