Hendlricks Mining Co~
Caribou, Colorado
6j6~~t/~ G'i»es. /o/d./lZierfirec~ ty7'4
June 07, 1995
RECEIVED
Mr. Bill York-Fiern JUN 0 9
Division of Minerals and Geology 995
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 Drvis~on of minerals 8 Geology
Denver, Colorado 80203
Reference: Cross Gold Mine OperationlEcho Bay Exploration 1995
Fax to: 303 832-8106
Dear Bill:
'~~~k
;r~
As you no doubt know from recent articles in the press, Hendricks Mining; Co.
recently formed a joint venture -exploration agreement with Echo Bay Expla~ration,
Inc. This is a three year agreement. During the first year which commenced on May
O1, 1995 a minimum of $300,000 will be spent on geological reviews, survey work,
core drilling and land maintenance. We expect to drill about 15,000 feet of core this
year mainly from surface locations. Most of the sites will be on our patented claims.
As was the case last year, the sites will be under 40' X 40'.
Careful environmental attention will be paid to constructing the pads. Each site
will leave two sediment traps for cuttings. Poly-propaline 3M rags will be used to
trap any drill oil around the rigs. Trash will be collected daily. We will self-reclaim
each core site upon completion of the holes and surveys. Most of the pad sites will be
located on or near existing roadways or access corridors. Any anticipated site; on
U.S. Forest Service ground - unpatented claim areas will be permitted through the
Forest Service in Boulder and through your office.
Do we need any special permits or amendments to our existing permits for this
work. Also, are there any additional bond requirements? Would you like to visit our
operations to inspect these potential core sites? Drilling could start in three weeks.
No underground mining work other Than maintenance is anticipated this year.
I look fo rd to your reply and thanks as always for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Tom Hen
President
CC: Mr. Fred
Mr. John Cardin
Mr. Bruce Durham
Mr. John Henderson
A1r.
