Long <br />Division Director <br />This letter is to inform you that your company is the apparent low bidder on <br />Project RN-MINES-322, the GEC/East Pit Coal Reclamation Project. To complete <br />the process of bid award, you must send the follpwing information to me within <br />ten (10) calendar days from receipt of this notice: <br />1) A certificate of insurance in the amounts given in Number 5, <br />Insurance, of the General Conditions. The certificate of insurance <br />must show the State of Colorado as an additional insured. <br />2> A project schedule, as specified in Number 7 of the General <br />Conditions. <br />3) A performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond in the <br />amounts of 100 percent and 100 percent respectively of the revised <br />bid amount ($350,252.52). The bonds must be submitted using the <br />State forms. Copies are enclosed. <br />4) Rental agreements for an additional Caterpillar DS bulldozer and a <br />Caterpillar 627 or 637 scraper, This additional equipment will be <br />necessary on the jobsite only if work falls behind the project <br />schedule, (submitted under Item 2 above>. <br />When the above documents have been submitted and found to be in order, a <br />purchase order will be issued and a notice to proceed will be given.
