This ROD gives <br />consent to the Bureau of Land Management to lease about 1, 517 acres of National Forest <br />System lands for underground coal mining near Somerset, in Gunnison County, Colorado. The <br />ROD also assigns 14 special coal lease stipulations for protection of surface resources. <br />This decision is subject to administrative review pursuant to the Forest Service Appeal <br />Regulations at 36 CFR 215.11.
