;, .
2. Information concerning the length, width and depth or
thickness of concrete slabs and foundations should be
submitted.
3. Does fencing need to be installed in order to achieve
revegetation success? If so, installation and removal costs
should be submitted.
4. The backfilling and grading plan does not adequately describe the
disposal site of materials scraped up from the haul road and yard
area. Explain more fully the destination of materials scraped up
from the haul road and yard area. Bonding calculations describe a
100' push.
5. Please describe the sediment pond removal plan in greater detail.
Is there adequate material in the embankment to fill the pond?
Amend the bonding calculations to include estimates for removal of
the sediment pond, including mobilization and demobilization costs.
6. Provide an estimate of the bond required to abandon monitoring
wells in existing and previous hydrologic monitoring programs.
7. The equipment operating costs used by TCC appear to be somewhat low
for both the D10 and 16G. TCC proposes a two shift day as the basis
for the rental cost estimating. On such a small project it is
doubtful that two shifts/day is warranted or would be used. The
production estimates are slightly higher than the Division's for
the D10 dozer - 510 lcy versus 660 lcy.
/vj r
2751E
