AGGREGATE
INDUSTRIES
Filling of the site started shortly after the license was issued and has progressed to the point that
the site should be completely filled in 1.5 to 2 yeazs. Mr. Broda has started the process of
changing the zoning for the property with the proposed use as commercial. Once the site is filled
completely it should be reclaimed according to the plan or will be developed according to the
proposed zoning plans. The future development may include a hardened surface and outside
storage in the area of the flood plain. Mr. Broda has obtained a stonnwater permit, air quality
permit and has not had any violations regarding compliance with the permits.
The DMG received a letter from Adco Consulting dated October 9, 2002 that described the
changes in the status of the acreage. It was brought to our attention that the permit seems to be
in "suspension" based upon your inspection of the property on August 2, 2006. We met to
discuss the status on October 12, 2006.
Please review this withdrawal request and send a letter of approval or denial. You can contact
Mark Molen at Molen & Associates, LLC (303) 450-1600, the consultant assisting with the
request, with any questions or concerns or me.
Michael C.
