-z- <br />VII, RECLAAfATION TfEASURES: <br />State the measures to be taken to reclaim any affected land consistent with <br />the applicable requirements of Rule 6 and any applicable regulations promul- <br />gated thereunder by the Board. <br />The affected land will be graded, covered with topsoil, and <br />red with grass and other plant species native to the area. <br />Where drainage is affected, it will be restored to as close <br />as possible the original drainage pattern with due regard to <br />the prevention of erosion. <br />VIII. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PROSPECTING OPERATIONS: <br />1. Reclamation measures shall be fulfilled in a timely manner. <br />2. The prospecting operations described in this notice will be conducted in <br />such a manner as to minimize surface disturbances. In addition to the <br />measures required in Rule 6, precautions to be taken include: <br />a. Confinement of operations to areas near existing roads or trails, <br />where practicable, <br />b. Timely plugging or capping of drill holes in a proper, inconspicuous <br />and safe manner upon completion or abandonment, <br />c. Reclamation of affected lands upon completion of operations or phases <br />of an operation, <br />d. Dispersing or burying materials removed from any such hold, <br />e. Backfilling and revegetating any pits, and <br />f. In the case where drill holes in sedimentary rock produce water, <br />sealing separately from one another, aquifers that are separate <br />and discrete, to prevent intermingling of water. <br />3. The prospecting operations shall be conducted in such a manner as to <br />comply with all applicable state and federal air and water quality laws <br />and regulations. <br />4. The prospecting operations shall be conducted so as to minimize adverse <br />effects upon wildlife. <br />5. During the prospecting operations, the operator will perform the neces- <br />sary stabilization and reclamation work to prevent landslides, flood or <br />erosion. <br />6. The operator will post surety in the amount of $25,000, State-wide, Pros- <br />pect ng bond. <br />7.
