Spoil ground water monitoring wells have been placed to bedrock in <br />reclaimed pits 2 and 5. A similar .monitoring well will be placed <br />in Pit 4 within the first construction season following final <br />regrading. These three ground water wells will be tested quarterly <br />(pending weather and site access) for field parameters and chemical <br />parameters listed above. Results will be submitted to the Division <br />on an annual basis. <br />5. Rockcastle has submitted copies of the initial air quality permit <br />and application for final air quality permits to the Division. <br />b. Rockcastle will fertilize all retopsoiled areas with mono ammonium <br />phosphate (100 lb/acre) and ammonium nitrate 34-0-0 (200 lb/acre). <br />7. Rockcastle will periodically sample reclamation efforts at Pits <br />1-b. Vegetation will be representatively sampled for cover by an <br />authority in range managment. The authority shall use his <br />professional judgment in locating 5 transects per reclaimed pit. <br />The transects will be 50 meter transects with data collected on <br />cover at 1 meter increments (both 1st and 2nd hits will be <br />recorded). <br />
