Section 10: N%z> SW'/a, N%z SE'/a, SW% SE'/a
Section 11: S%z, NW'/.
Section 16: W%z NW'/., NE'/a NW'/a, N% NE'/.
Section 17: NE%z
The proposed expansion will undermine and subside portions of Fish Creek and its alluvial valley floor in
Sections 10 and 11, TSN, R86W. No new surface facilities are proposed for Permit Revision 6; therefore,
no new disturbance of the land surface is approved other than that associated with subsidence.
Upon cessation of mining activities, all surface disturbance will be reclaimed. Surface facilities will be
removed. The portal azea, Area 2 pit and the waste disposal site will be backfilled with previously mined
spoils existing within aeeas adjoining the old Energy No, 1 pit. All surface disturbance will be regraded to
approximate original contour. Topsoil from existing and proposed topsoil stockpiles will be redistributed
over the entire disturbed azea to depths 0.7 feet to 0.8 feet as depicted on Map 29 of the permit application,
with the exception of those piles which aze dedicated to specific areas from which it was removed. Re-
seeding and revegetation will occur following topsoil laydown operations. Reclamation success will be
determined by statistically compazing the reclaimed areas to reference areas, except at the Fish Creek
Tipple, which was constructed prior to implementation of the current laws and regulations.
