However, <br />slump area but there was <br />observations. <br />measurements taken at slumps B & C that there <br />the size of these slumps. Slump C is well <br />not readily discernible. This slump was dry <br />there is no evidence of perennial water on the <br />cattails were located off to the sides of the <br />no flow from these areas during the fall <br />Slump B is also vegetated and appears to be stabilizing, however, its <br />face and toe are readily discernible. This slump was dry during fall <br />observations. As with slump C there were seeps located off the the sides <br />but not on the slump area. The seeps were not flowing during fall <br />observations but cattails were present. <br />Information regarding slump A is less conclusive. This site was <br />regraded following initial slump measurements. Monument markers were <br />installed on the site, however, the reoccurrence of the slump was below and <br />to one side of the markers. As a result, the markers were not useful in <br />monitoring this slump. Slump A had cattails present on a portion of the <br />slump area and a very small flow was discernible during fall observations. <br />In order to obtain better information regarding the stability of these <br />slumps, a detailed survey of slumps A and B was completed this summer. The <br />locations of each survey point has been plotted on the enclosed map and <br />associated figure. The figure shows the survey points which are plotted on <br />• the map at an expanded scale which can be more readily interpreted. The <br />enclosed table gives the elevations and mine coordinates for each survey <br />point. During the survey particular attention was paid to the face and toe <br />of each slump. In addition, several points were surveyed in the center of <br />
