As indicated in this letter, I have examined the site and
will be preparing a permit boundan~ change for the Coal Creek operation, basically a release request. I am not
sure exacth~ how much the Coal Creek pernut area will be reduced, but i[ is probably on the order of 10 acres.
This will effectively remove the unfortunate overlap bepveen these hvo permits. It is puzzling as to how that
overlap occurred in the firs[ place, but I suspect it is a carryover from an earlier time when procedures were not
as sophisticated as they are today. This permit boundary change will be submitted next month after I can take
some photographs of the area to include in the change request. Based upon my inspection this morning;
documenting the land included in the change with photographs appears to be important.
Since~G~'vC
~~
Mark A.
