heard, in Judge Boulden's Courtroom located on the third fluor of <br />the Federal Courthouse Building located at 350 South Main Si:reet, <br />Salt Fake City, Utah. The Motion requests approval of a <br />settlement of this adversary proceeding between the parties.. <br />CF&I brought this action against Defendant alleging that certain <br />transfers made to it constitute avoidable preferences under 11 <br />U.S.C. § 547(b). The parties have agreed to settle the matt=er <br />with Defendant reducing its allowed secured claim in CF&I S~~eel's <br />case from $47,621.00 to $35,000 and Defendant being perIDitt~=_d to <br />file an unsecured claim in the amount of this reduction plus <br />interest which accrued on the secured claim prior to the petition <br />date. Copies of the Motion and the related settlement agreement <br />may be obtained by request from the undersigned counsel for CF'&I. <br />PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that, pursuant to Rule 523(k~) <br />of the Rules of Practice of the United States Bankruptcy Court: <br />for the District of Utah, objections to the Motion must be <br />submitted in writing, filed with the Bankruptcy Court, and served <br />upon the undersigned counsel on or before Friday, the 11th Say of <br />June, 1993.
