<br /> <br />Notice of Public Hearing <br />on a Show Cause Order <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) has <br />scheduled a formal Public hearing before the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board (Board) for consideration of the Division's Order <br />to Basin Resources To Show Cause Why Permit Should Not Be Suspended <br />Or Revoked (Order). The hearing will be held during the Board's <br />regularly scheduled monthly meeting on December 15-16, 1993 in Room <br />318, Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado. <br />The meeting will convene at 9:00 a.m. both days. <br />The Order was issued by the Division on October 29, 1993, based on <br />the finding of a Pattern of Violations at Basin Resources' Golden <br />Eagle Mine, an underground coal operation located approximately 20 <br />miles west of Trinidad, Colorado, in Las Animas County, along <br />Highway 12. <br />Copies of the Show Cause Order and related documentation are <br />available for review at the office of the Colorado Division of <br />Minerals and Geology, Room 215, Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Denver, Colorado, 80203. Persona who wish to intervene or <br />participate in the proceeding may do so by submitting a written <br />request to the Division within 10 days of this Publication. <br />
