We are concerned about continued subsidence and hydrology in the area.
We have already lead water loss in the subsidences that are present.
Ute Water wants to buy land from us for another settling tank, and I do not want
Powder Mountain Ranch to have any responsibility from problems than might develop
under any land that we may sell to Ute Water.
We have people that are interested in purchasing home sites to build houses similar
to what Sam Scoggins built two or three years ago East of Ute Water.
We feel that Powderhorn Coal should be responsible for any problems that might
develop in the future should more development occur in the area.
Sincerely,
Robert L.
