Since the markers were installed, the shrubs and trees
have grown making it additionally difficult to locate the markers.
Grand Valley Coal Company intends to replace the existing small
orange markers with a larger bright red marker that will be easier
to locate. In addition to replacing the markers, Grand Valley will
install the markers on the perimeter of the area that is disturbed.
The disturbed area markers will then be easier to locate from the
active area. The markers will then actually demarcate where
disturbance has occurred. If additional permitted disturbance is to
be undertaken, DMG will be notified and the perimeter markers will
be relocated.
Please call if there are questions or if I can be of assistance.
Sincerely,
!'~ '~ ' G~%G'C~G rte"
John M.
