For example areas at <br />the end of a longwall panel can place the surface in a state of tension. In these areas, surface tension <br />fractures tend to develop. Given the RFDS for this tract, surface tension fractures could be expected on <br />the ends of the longwall panels. These areas are expected to occur in about the middle of Section 13 and <br />extend in a southwesterly direction across the extreme northwest corner of Section 24. Overburden in <br />these areas range from 1,200 feet to about 2,000 feet.
