The Lorencito
Canyon Mine files have recently been completed and we are in the process of quality control of
these images. As a result of this quality control process, two issues regarding the Lorencito
application and paper files were discovered.
The images of the Soil Field Descriptions contained in Exhibit 9, Appendix S-2 were
determined to be illegible following scanning and indexing. Review of the paper files
indicates that the original descriptions in the permit application were of poor quality to
begin with. Please submit a new set of Soil Field Descriptions that are legible so that this
section of the permit can be re-scanned.
2. Figure EX 15-10 for sediment pond 008 was revised under MR-05 and subsequently
revised by MR-06 to "undo" the approval of MR-O5. The Figure we currently have is as
revised under MR-05. Please submit Figure EX 15-10 as it existed prior to revision by
MR-05.
Please submit the necessary information as soon as possible. Call me if you have any
questions.
Sint ,
~-
Ke . orham
Environmental Protection Specialist II
cc: Mike Kolin, Greystone
