Re: Mid-Term Review of the Raton Creek Mining Permit (No. C-82-055)
Dear Mr. Weaver:
Attached you will find the Division's Mid-Term review for the Raton Creek
Mine, Permit No. C-82-055.
This Mid-term review primarily consisted of reviewing the permit application,
the findings documents stipulation responses, revisions and any supplemental
information from past field inspection reports. The purpose of the review was
to areas of the permit application or the operation that will need to be
updated to put it ire compliance throughout the remaining 2-1/2 years of the
permit term.
The attached document contains our mid-term review, a summary of status of
stipulations, and results of the performance bond review.
At this time some minor revisions and modifications are required to put the
permit application in compliance with the Division's requirements. The
Division is requesting the Energy Fuels Mining Company submit appropriate
responses to the Division by April 17, 1990.
