Evans <br />Reclamation Specialist RECEIVED <br />Mined Land Reclamation Division <br />423 Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street FEB061y31 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />MINED UND RECLAMA710N~:COAL <br />RE: Detailed Blasting Plan and Schedule for the Areoo4laid~eno650.1uRA-usouaces. <br />Feet from Dorchester's Fuel Storage Facilities <br />Dear Peter: <br />In accordance with the agreement in the meeting held January 12, <br />1981, at the Dorchester Office in Fremont County, Colorado, GEC <br />Minerals, Inc., is now conducting and submitting a detailed blast- <br />ing plan and schedule, a pre-blast survey, and blast monitoring <br />for your approval. <br />As agreed, GEC will take full responsibility for any damage, should <br />damage occur by flyrock or by ground concussion and GEC also agrees <br />to pay for any related expenses concerning building a protective <br />shell to cover each of the two fuel tanks. <br />Additionally, GEC has leased one set of seismographic instruments <br />to continue monitoring the blasting from time to time to secure the <br />blasting technique and safety precautions required to be allowed to <br />proceed with the proposed blasting plans. <br />Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this sub- <br />mission. <br />Sincerely your <br />~~ <br />L.
