The actual <br /> resolution of this matter is pending resolution of augmentation considerations <br /> with the State Engineer, which the information copied to your office of 25 <br /> October 1996 conveyed. We are very close to resolution. <br /> Problem #2: Resolution of augmentation is close, as my information provided to <br /> your office on 25 October suggests. Last week, I spoke with Bill Maclntyre and <br /> he indicated he was 50% completed with his review. I was hoping to hear from <br /> him by the time of this correspondence. <br /> He indicated the figures looked good. Upon approval, which is expected, we <br /> must gain approval of an accounting method from Bill Gambrel], the Water <br /> Commissioner. Once the accounting is secured, we will submit a proposal to the <br /> City of Lafayete to purchase the winter water we need, which is both available <br /> and affordable. <br /> Once we secure all necessary water, the entire Pit 1 sq[id Dakolios sites will be <br /> properly permitted for all presently exposed groundwater.
