The following information <br />covers the time period from August 04, 1997 -August 11, 1997. <br />General Construction Summary and Schedule <br />Excavation of Phase 1C and Phase 1D of the RPE and creation of structural fill via screening <br />operations continues. Construction of the Pond SG-1 embankments, filling of the shaft bench <br />areas, and installation of the 54" Clearwater diversion (CCW-1B) are in progress. Excavation of <br />the north slope of the shaft sites for final alignment of the Main Access Road from Station 85 to <br />end has begun. Excavation of the Electric Borehole Road continues. MSE wall F-1 and F-2 <br />construction began on Monday, August 4. Approximately six lifts (10' total depth) were <br />completed, with the total height of the walls approximately 3' above the multiplate culvert. Brush <br />clearing and pad construction for the transmission line began. Heavy rains occurred at the site <br />Monday night, Tuesday, Tuesday night, and again on Sunday. No work was performed Tuesday. <br />
