The Division appreciates your <br />concerns and that you took the time to contact us. Regarding the possibility of [he mining operations damaging <br />the two springs on your property, [he Division is looking into [his and will let you know of our findings. At <br />this time we can state that your property is outside the permit area and is not planned to be undermined in the <br />next five years. <br />The Division would like Doe point to be clarified. In your letter you state that you purchased Lot 39 in Unit <br />No. 4 al Rancho Escondido. You further state that L.ot 39 lies mostly in Section 5 of Township 335, <br />Range 67W with a small portion lying in Section 8 of Township 335, Range 67W. Our records show that Lot <br />39 of Unit No. 4 lies entirely in Section 5 of Township 33S, Range 67W, as shown in the enclosed map copy. <br />Please clarify if our records are incorrect. <br />Concerning the claiming of water rights, [he Division does no[ have jurisdiction over such matters. Please <br />contact the Stale Engineer, Colorado Division of Water Resources, Room 818, 1313 Shermatt Street, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203.
