A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must 6e installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this of other imsgimg CD's does not require a new instillation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase pfygj be is the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will watain files with the .tif extension. Thera needs to 6e an imago viewing application for .tif files on your compute that will handle single and multrpage doclmments. On a Windows XP computer, rho default viewing programs aro called "Windows Picdue and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with tZuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes withpre-Windows XP computers. does work. DMG has determined that a program called °IrfaoView", which can be downloaded from h-fanView.com, does work with lTtickView. After downloading "hfaaView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG.does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registrati~ are the user's respoastbility. There are many other programs that work as weQ such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Inetructlons• / 1. Insert the CD into your computer. / 2. Allow time fin the CD to install /// 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the wmputer. 5. You aro ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonm, which rune the QuickView sedtp program, has also bem copied to this CD. If the Autorun program does NOT work, you will axd to mamrally install the QuickView program. Insbuctiona for manually installing QuicliView ere available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.atate.co.us. The Permit Flle document images can be viewed in the receptlon area of the DMG office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost coven the time and labor of making the CD.
