Drawer 400
Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81602
Courtney;
In regards to our telephone conversation yesterday relating
to the availability of overburden for the Eagle Pit, operated
by Nottingham Gravel, I have the following comments:
1.) As indicated by my letter dated Jame 12, 1984, I
performed test borings on the property to determine
approximate depths of topsoil-overburden present.
2.) From these test borings it is my feeling that there
is sufficient overburden (4-6 inches) to sustain an
adequate plant growth medium for revegetation purposes,
for the entire property.
I hope that this information is of service to you. If you need
further assistance, please contact my office.
Sincerely,,
Rick Olson
District Conservationist
0
