',i: i:i iii R;',7 ~,._ <br />Re: Adams Aggregate operations in the Nwl/9 of Section 24, <br />T1S, R67W, 6 P.M.; Parcel 6 <br />Dear Mr. Schmieding: <br />This will confirm our recent telephone conversation in which you <br />advised me that the Division of Mined Land Reclamation had in <br />fact issued a State Permit for gravel mining accessory operations <br />on the above described property, specifically Parcel 6, based <br />upon what the Division deemed to be Adams County approval of <br />such an operation on that site. '. <br />Please be advised that Adams County has not granted official <br />approval of such an operation with respect to Parcel 6. The <br />existing "authority" for such approval consists solely of a <br />Planning Department letter which indicates that that Department <br />had no objections to such an operation on Parcel 6. As you are <br />aware, however, a county's planning department has no authority <br />to grant final approval of a conditional use.
