Computer requirements to use the DMG document Lnsging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to tbe CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the fast time. Futtue use of this or other imaging CD's does not requee a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that youpurchase be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be as image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi=page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint' and they do not work with QaickView. The Imaging Viewer that cornea withpre-Windows XP computers- does work. DMG has determined that a program called `7rfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView, After downloading "h-fanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG.does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration am the user's responsibility. Thera are many other programs that work as well, such as `4maging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Inatructlona• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit FIlea. NOTE: A program called QuickView Aurorae, which runs the QtrickView sehrp program, has alvo been copied to this t:D.
